On a commercial job there is no version where an inspection gets skipped, and we have never needed one. Work is built to code, permits are filed, and each phase is inspected before the next one begins.
The plumbing, electrical and HVAC subcontractors on our jobs are licensed. Certificates of insurance and licence documentation are provided on request, and supplied as standard to property managers, landlords and developers as part of the pre-construction package.
Commercial work also forces planning. Materials are bought in volume, the trades are sequenced, and the decisions are made before the work starts rather than halfway through it.
